  Ncell Cup Football: Manang, Marsyangdi into semi-final

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Manang Marsyangdi Club has entered the semi-final of the Ncell Cup Football tournament which is underway in the capital.

In the quarter-final match held at Dasarath stadium on Thursday, MMC defeated Nepal Police Club by 2-1 to book a place in the final four of the tournament.

NPC took the lead with a goal by Rabin Shrestha in the 29th minute of the first half. It was neutralized by MMC´s Sujal Shrestha in the 68th minute of the match.

MMC´s foreign recruit Yona Elias scored the winning goal for his team in the 86th minute of the match.

MMC is the fourth and final team to join the semi-final following Tribhuvan Army Club, Sankata Club and Boys Union Club.
