I totally agree with the article of Mr. Narayan that we are shrinking in terms of diplomacy. Despite the effort of establishing new mission in foreign countries like Bahrain, Guangzhou of China and Oman. We have been trying to cut down our old diplomatic links. One case that i would like to mention is about the issue of selling Nepalese Embassy in London and Bonn in Germany. There is also a other side of coin. There are some missions in the prime countries including our immediate neighbors where the career diplomats hesitate or overlook to serve as a mission chief. May be their inferiority complexes bred on them due to the fear of getting ill treatment or lack of astuteness, they ever dare to serve these missions.
