KATHMANDU, Feb 21: The government has decided to open embassy in Barahain and consulates in two cities in Saudi Arabia. A cabinet meeting held Thursday took a decision to this effect, informed Women, Children and Social Welfare Minister Badri Neupane.
According to him, the meeting also decided to appoint Dhan Raj Ratal as head, Dr Narayan Ghimire as registrar and Dr Sitaram Aryal as member secretary of the Nepal Veterinary Council.
Likewise, the meeting endorsed the guideline on identification of poor households and management and distribution of the identity cards to the poor, 2069. It also formed a coordination committee to organize events to mark the diamond jubilee of the accent on Mt Everest.
