KATHMANDU, Feb 11: This year’s edition of Close Up Love Fest will be a three-day event, with the message ‘the closer, the better’ starting from February 14.
The first day of the celebration is scheduled to take place at Sherpa Mall, Durbar Marg; Civil Mall, Sundhara; Jhamel, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square 3pm onwards.
“There will be a message board at each of these venues where people can write love messages and the best one will be awarded with a pair of Samsung phones,” stated the press release.
On February 15, the fest will be held at QFX Cinemas in Civil Mall with interactive games where participants can win gift hampers, free movie tickets for the evening show and invitations to the final day on February 16.
According to the press release, the last day of the fest, which will start after 12pm, includes performances by Mt 8848, Naren Limbu, Sugam Pokharel, Shine Band, a salsa performance and B-boying.
Building up the hype for the fest, Close Up’s College Love Fest Team also visited Bagmati Modern College, Nobel College, GoldenGate International College, Caspain Valley College, GEMS Institute of Higher Education, Little Angels’ College and others from February 5 to 10.
College students participated in the interactive games and winners were awarded with gift hampers like free movie tickets, restaurant vouchers and invitations to the fest.
