  RPP-Nepal stages sit-in across country

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: With the demands of an all-party conference, independent and neutral election government, and election to the Constituent Assembly and the local bodies, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal staged sit-ins at the offices of the district administration across the country on Sunday.

The sit-in at Makwanpur was provided solidarity by party chairman Kamal Thapa while by co-chairman Padma Sundar Lawoti at Panchthar.

Senior leader Keshar Bahadur Bista led the sit-ins of Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts. Party leaders Raja Ram Shrestha, Bikram Bahadur Thapa, Niranjan Thapa, Taranath Luintel, Shyam Prasad Ghimire and the cadres attended the sit-ins.

On the occasion, senior leader Bista said his party welcomed the decision of the ruling Maoist party to form an independent government under the leadership of the Chief Justice to hold the election to the constituent assembly which the RPP-Nepal´s emergency meeting had decided immediately after the demise of the CA.
