  Oppn parties to gather at Pokhara for anti-govt protest

POKHARA, Feb 3: Different nine political parties in the opposition are to organize a grand protest mass assembly against government´s totalitarianism.

The Joint Struggle Mobilizing Committee, Kaski, organized a press conference and informed the journalists that the opposition parties have urged one and all to support the protest and participate in the mass assembly.

They have a plan of bringing 25,000 people in the mass assembly that will be organized at Chipledhunga, Pokhara, and directed the parties concerned and their sister organizations to work on making the assembly a success.

Senior leader of the CPN (UML) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Nepali Congress Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel, and Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Pashupati Shumsher Rana, among others, are scheduled to address the mass assembly.
