KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Nepalese ambassador to Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Bharat Raj Paudyal, who is also concurrently accredited to Republic of Turkey
[if gte mso 9]>800x600, presented his letters of credence to Turkish President Abdullah Gul amid a special ceremony held in Ankara, Wednesday.
According to a press statement issued by Nepalese Embassy in Pakistan, envoy Paudyal also paid courtesy call on the Turkish president after the ceremony. On the occasion, ambassador Paudyal conveyed best wishes and greetings of President Dr Ram Baran Yadav. Matters of mutual interests and potential areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed in the meeting.
The envoy also paid courtesy call on Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmet Davutoglu on the same day. During the meeting Turkish Minister Davutoglu pledged to support to Nepal in her development endeavors.
Likewise, envoy Paudyal held separate meetings with the Minister of Customs and Trade, Minister of Transport and Communications and the President of the Turkish International Development Agency (TIKA).
