CHITWAN, Jan 22: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala has said that NC would not bow to the threats issued by the UCPN (Maoist).

Addressing a function in Chitwan on Tuesday, Koirala also challenged the Maoists to go to jungle by tearing away all past agreements. “They need no threaten us by saying that they would enter the jungle. If the Maoists have courage, I ask them to tear away all the past agreements. We would not be frightened by their threats,” said Koirala.

While asking Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal not to make such irresponsible remarks, Koirala also said that NC would not bow to Maoist´s threats.

"Maoists do not follow the rule of law," Koirala said, adding, “The Maoists will share the fate of the former king if they attempt to usurp democracy."
