KATHMANDU, May 4: A secretariat meeting the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has decided to intensify struggle in the parliament and the street until President Dr Ram Baran withdraws his “unconstitutional” move.
Maoist secretariat member Barsaman Pun said, “Since the president’s move is a constitutional coup, we will continue protesting against the move.” The party convened the meeting soon after Prime Minister and Maoist leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal announced his resignation in a televised address to the nation.
