  Seven injured in Gulmi accident

GULMI, Nov. 16: A total of seven persons were injured in a road accident at Purkotdaha in Gulmi district, today.

According to the Area Police Office, Purkotdaha, the injured are Nar Bahadur Pun, 64, of Argha in Pyuthan district, Ram Bahadur Pun, 12, Khagi Pun, 66, Ganga Tamang, 40, Keyar Singh Tamang, 30, Namrata Tamang and Khag Bahadur Tamang.

The accident took place when a jeep heading towards the district headquarters, Tamghas, from Aglung in the district, met with an accident while the jeep driver tried to save a chicken.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at Purkotdaha Health Post.All the injured were coming to Indian Pension Camp at Tamghas for receiving pensions to be given from Saturday, it is learnt
