KATHMANDU, Nov. 12: The Weather Forecast Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that light pressure in the high atmosphere caused brief rainfall in the hilly regions including Kathmandu Valley on Monday.
Senior meteorologist at the Department Rajendra Shrestha said Kathmandu Valley, Rasuwa, Dhading, Kaski and others witnessed brief rainfall while weather in other parts of the country remained fair.
The rain would bring cold, he said, adding some hilly districts would continue to witness brief downpour tomorrow but fair weather thereafter
