RSS

KATHMANDU, Nov  2: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and the top leaders of the four major political forces have started a discussion aimed at removing the present political deadlock in the country.

The discussions between the President and the leaders will zero in on topics like formation of national consensus government, general election and budget, it is learnt.

Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress president Sushil Koirala, CPN-UML chairman Jhalanath Khanal and president of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar are in confab with the President.

The discussion is taking place at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas. Although the President has held discussions with the top leaders from time to time before this also, the political crisis in the country is far from over.
