  Prez upbeat about consensus before Tihar

BHAKTAPUR, Oct 29: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Monday said he is hopeful that political parties would be able to forge consensus and end the existing political stalemate before Tihar.

The president expressed his hope while talking to media persons during his visit to Nawadurga Bhawani temple in Bhaktapur, where he performed puja on the last day of Dashain festival.

Yadav arrived at the temple at around 4 pm escorted by a special team of security personnel. Customarily, the state head worship at the temple on the occasion of Kojagrat Purnima, the last day of Dashain.
