  Two hurt in YCL-Youth Association clash

OKHALDHUNGA, Oct 28: A clash took place between the Young Communist League (YCL) and Youth Association cadres at Bilandu village in Okhaldhunga district.

Buddhi Baral, the UCPN (Maoist) Bilandu VDC In-charge, and Nawaraj Mishra, a supporter of the CPN (UML) were injured in the clash. They are undergoing treatment at the Sunkoshi Cooperatives Hospital in Ramechhap district, police said.

The clash broke out after attack attempt was made on Ashok Shrestha, a Youth Association cadre in course of a dispute between youths over the matter of taking turns for playing the swing. The youths had gathered to play the swing after receiving the Dashain festival tika.

The situation in Bilandu is said to be tense after the clash between the youths. Police have been mobilized from the Ghorakhori police post for security.

Police have detained seven youths including Ashok Shrestha in this connection.
