RATNANAGAR, Chitwan, Oct 24: Two persons have died and four others have been injured in separate road accidents in Chitwan.
An Indian national of 32 years of age died when a bus bound to Hetaunda from Bharatpur hit him at Sauraha Chowk of Ratnanagar on Tuesday.
The victim is Alam from Adapur of India and currently living in Dang, said the police. Seriously injured Alam died in course of treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College.
He was here to meet his kin with his friend Ram Ekwal Saha who was also seriously injured in the bus-hit. The registration number of the bus is yet to be ascertained. Police have said the search for the bus and driver is underway.
Similarly, a motorcyclist died in an accident at Gitanagar last night. The deceased has been identified as Baburam Koirala, 39, of Shibanagar-8, the west Chitwan.

The accident happened when a motorcycle (Na 18 Pa 2588) and a bicycle collided at Gitanagar Ward No.-5, said the Chitwan Police.
Policeman killed in motorcyle accident
A policeman was killed in a motorcycle accident took place at Sadepani road section in Kailali along the East-West Highway on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Basanta Rana of Dodhara VDC, according to the District Police Office Kailali. Basanta was on the way to his home to celebrate the Dashain. His motorcycle (Lu 4 Pa 4223) overturned on the roadside after he lost its control.
Others two people walking on the roadside have been injured in the accident. RSS
