RSS

CHITWAN, Oct. 22: CPN (UML) Chairman Jhalanath Khanal has directed the party cadres to gear up for a peaceful agitation the party has planned after the Dashain and Tihar festival to pile pressure for national consensus.

During his meeting with party cadres at Bharatpur today, Khanal said chances of political consensus are becoming slim and directed them to gear up for a protest.

Stating the nation could not get an outlet to the existing crisis until and unless the national consensus was forged, the UML Chairman accused the UCPN (Maoist) of causing obstructions in forging the consensus.

The UCPN (Maoist) Chairman forgot his promise about the formation of the national consensus government after his foreign visit", he claimed.

"Formation of national consensus government with an agreement on national agenda is the voice of the CPN (UML)", he said.

UML Chairman was on the way to the Manakamana Temple, Gorkha with his family. He is scheduled to return Kathmandu after paying homage to the Goddess Manakamama today itself.
