  Two youths abducted in Siraha

SIRAHA, Oct 20: An unknown group ´abducted´ two persons from Inarwa VDC of the Nepal-India bordering area in Siraha district.

Dinish Mahato of Inarwa VDC Ward No. 2 and his brother in law Sushil Mahato of Rajbiraj from Saptari district were ´abducted´ at around 11:00 pm on Thursday while they were sleeping to guard their chicken farm near Dinesh´s house.

Dinesh is a Bachelor´s level student at JS Multiple Campus in Lahan and arrived his home on the same day to celebrate the Dashain holiday.

According to Dhakendra Khatiwada, Police Inspector at Ward Police Office, Lahan, the condition of both youths has not been ascertained yet. A Police team has been deployed to search them.

Khatiwada said police investigation has been forwarded to find whether they were abducted or murdered as some blood marks were seen in the nearest field.

Meanwhile, police arrested Dinesh´s brother Dhanbir Mahato, Shiva Narayan Mandal, Shanker Mahato, Ramudgar Mahato and Nathuni Mahato for the investigation.
