  BUSINESS BRIEFS: Etihad Airways offers discounted rates

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: UAE´s national carrier Etihad Airways has offered special discounted rates for its Pearl Business Class seats for the travel period between November 1 and December 12, 2012. According to a press release issued on Friday, Pearl Business Class promises dining services on demand with a food and beverage manager for its customers, along with an award winning 6´1” fully-flat bed that comes with in-seat massage.

“The airline also has a luxurious Six Senses Spa at its Pearl Business Class Lounge along with accommodations for a stylish car and an Etihad Chauffeur,” reads the release.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, began operations in 2003, and in 2011 carried 8.3 million passengers serving 86 passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.

IME roadshow concludes

KATHMANDU
: International Money Exchange (IME), a remittance company, has wrapped up its roadshow, ´IME Hasya Yatra Byroad ko Batoma´, that was organized to promote remittance service between India and Nepal. The tour, which began on Sept 26 from Lions Chowk of Narayanghat, passed through Butwal, Liwang of Rolpa, Bag Dulla of Pyuthan, Salyan, Tulsipur, Surkhet, Nepalgunj, Gulariya, Dhangadhi, Dadeldhura, Baitadi, Mangalsen, Sandhikharka, Tamghas, Tansen, Syangja, Baglung and Damauli.

These shows were observed by around 170,000 people, according to an IME statement. The team was led by IME brand ambassadors and comedians Dipak Raj Giri and Deepashree Niraula.
