Pokhrel accuses Maoists of pushing nation towards crisis

POKHARA, Oct 19: CPN-UML Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has accused the UCPN ( Maoist) of pushing the nation towards darkness.
Addressing a greetings exchange programme organized by the UML Kaski and Pokhara Town Committee on the occasion of the Dashain festival here on Friday, former minister Pokhrel claimed that the dream of the Nepali people has been shattered due to Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai´s greed for power.
Formation of a government of national consensus is a must to find a way out to the nation for ending the existing constitutional and political vacuum, he said.Party district chairman Man Bahadur GC presided over the program.
