  Two dead in Palpa jeep mishap

PALPA, Oct 17: At least two persons have died in a jeep accident in Palpa on Wednesday morning.

The jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2169) en-route to Tansen fell off the road near Darlamdanda-9 Geja Thati, informed police.

Among the 18 passengers on board, seven fatally injured have been rushed to Mission Hospital, Tansen for treatment.

Some of the passengers have been stuck inside the jeep and police are carrying out the rescue operation, police said.

The identification of the dead and the injured have not been ascertained yet.
