KANCHANPUR, Oct 16: A pedestrian was killed in a road accident at Bhanshi in Kanchanpur on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as a local 39-year-old Gajendra Bhandari. A bus (Na 4 Kha 436 ) bound to Kathmandu from Mahendranagar hit Bhandari, leaving him seriously injured.
He died on way to the hospital for treatment. Following the accident, police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.
