JANAKPUR, Oct 15: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Monday warned that he will not hesitate to sprint into action if the political parties still fail to forge consensus, at the earliest.
Hinting that the parties are prolonging the state of transition in the name of consensus, Yadav said, "I am still urging them to come forward with consensus. But I am not immature. As the head of state, I am for sure going to give an outlet (for the current crisis) if I will have to."
"Even though the Constituent Assembly could not promulgate the new constitution, there had been a success in bringing Maoist arms and army under the state´s control," Yadav, who arrived in Janakpur on his personal work, said
"But the constitution is what the people have really wanted. I once again request the leaders to be committed to this task, rising above personal and petty interests," added Yadav while talking to media persons after visiting the local Radha Krishna temple.
Yadav came to Janakpur via a Yeti Air flight at 11 am. He is scheduled to fly back to the capital at 3 pm today itself.
