  ANFA rewards players with cash

KATHMANDU, Oct 14: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Sunday rewarded male and female players of the national teams with cash incentives amid a function at its headquarters in Satdobato, Lalitpur.

ANFA provided cash reward of 100,000 apiece to 20 members of men´s national team and two coaches -- Meghraj KC and Upendraman Singh -- citing their best performance.

According to ANFA, the men´s team made Nepal proud with their brilliant performance since the World Cup Qualifiers in June 2011, in the finals and group stages of AFC Challenge Cup and various friendlies until SAFF Championship in December 2011. Nepal reached the semifinal of SAFF Championship after 12 years on the occasion.

Unlike the men´s team, 22 member women´s national squad, which finished runner up in the SAFF Championship for the second time in a row, was given Rs 50,000 apiece. The women team includes two coaches -- Kishor KC and Kumar Katwal -- and 20 players.

The salaries of the members of men´s national team and the referees have been increased from the current Nepali month of Ashwin. The ANFA board has decided to increase the players´ salary from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000 per month and that of FIFA referees to Rs 4000 from Rs 2000 they had been receiving.

Meanwhile, the ANFA has also begun providing a salary of Rs 5000 per months to each member of women national football squad from the current month.
Meanwhile, ANFA also distributed letter of appreciation and token of love to the officials who contributed for the men´s and women´s national team.

Male players to receive cash incentives

Bikash Malla, Ritesh Thapa, Kiran Chemjong, Sagar Thapa, Sandip Rai, Rohit Chand, Biraj Maharjan, Rabin Shrestha, Bikash Singh Chhetri, Deepak Bhusal, Nirajan Khadka, Bhola Silwal, Jagjeet Shrestha, Raju Tamang, Bijay Gurung, Jumanu Rai, Anil Gurung, Bharat Khawas, Santosh Sahukhala and Sujal Shrestha.

Female players to receive cash incentives

Namita Dali, Bhagwati Thapa, Usha Bhandari, Dhim Kumari Gurung, Nisha Bohara, Tulasa Singh, Jamuna Gurung, Deepa Adhikari, Chandra Bhandari, Anu Lama, Pramila Rai, Niru Thapa Yashoda Lama, Laxmi Kumari Paudel, Sajana Rana, Krishna Khatri, Leela Lamgade, Chandra Dahal, Anchali Waiba, Reena Guvaju.

Referees to receive salary

Laba Khatri, Sachin Amatya, Bikash Mahat, Sudish Pandey, Ashok Bajracharya, Sailesh Joshi, Nani Ram Thapa, Padam Bhujel, Rajesh Shrestha, Kalpana Sharma, Aruna Gurung, Bina Shrestha, Asmita Manandhar, Srijana Bartaula.
