19 arrested for operating 'illegal network business'

BHIM CHAPAGAIN

ILAM, Oct 14: 19 Nepalis have been arrested in Ilam for operating ´illegal network business´. They have been accused of operating Dynamic Benifical Accord Pvt Ltd, an illegal Indian network company.

Police have said that those arrested have been accused of operating the illegal business through other means. The operators had planned a program to provide financial assistance to orphans and elderly people today.

"We suspect that they have been promoting the network in the name of assistance," police inspector Ganesh Banstola said.

Police had asked locals to boycott such networking business and provide information on such business operators by making an announcement through local FM stations.

Police have said they are investigating into the matter.
