CHITWAN, Oct 12: Prime Minister  Baburam Bhattarai has said that development works would be possible only in collaboration with the people.

Earlier, the locals had demanded that a cemented bridge should be built at the same place. On the occasion, the Prime Minister expressed his commitment to constructing a concrete bridge as per the demand of the people of Gorkha in near future.

Stating that the country could not get an outlet until the upliftment of the poor class people of rural areas, he said the government has been seriously working for the same.

Prime Minister Bhattarai said the government´s first priority is to provide basic needs and facilities to the people.

Leader of the UCPN-Maoist, Hishila Yami, Secretary at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, Sheetal Sharma, General Director at the Division of Local Infrastructure and Agricultural Roads, Bhupendra Bahadur Basnet, among others, were present on the occasion.
