BHAKTAPUR, Oct 7: Spokesperson for the CPN-Maoist Pampha Bhushal on Sunday said her party should get to lead the next government.
Speaking at an interaction here, leader Bhushal argued that only her party-led government can give a way out to the ongoing political stalemate in the country.
She added that her party´s claim to the leadership of the next government is logical as the status of all parties in the country is equal to one another after the dissolution of the Constitution Assembly (CA).
She also claimed that the country would see significant progress in the socio-economic development within a few years if her party is given the leadership.
On the occasion, she also defended her party’s ban on movement of Indian number plate vehicles and screening of Hindi movies in Nepal. She also accused India of conspiring against Nepal´s constitution writing.
"India has hand behind the new constitution not being promulgated in time as it doesn’t want federalism in Nepal,” Bhushal argued. She also termed the incumbent Baburam Bhattarai-led government as the most corrupt in the country´s history.
