  NA aircraft narrowly avoids accident

POKHARA, Oct 5: Nepal Airlines Twin Otter aircraft narrowly avoided meeting an accident at Jomsom Airport in Mustang on Friday morning.

The Pokhara-bound 9N-NBT aircraft had skidded off the runway and got its wheels stuck in the drain while taking off at around 6:55 am.

All 18 passengers including six crew members are safe. The plane had lost its balance following the incident.

Security personnel with the help of locals have pulled out the aircraft. No damage to the aircraft has been reported.
