BIRGUNJ, Sept 30: Police have confiscated a huge quantity of marijuana from Paterwa Sugauli in Parsa district.
A team from the Area Police Office, Paterwa Sugauli, headed by Police Inspector Topendra Singh Rathaur confiscated five quintals of marijuana from a house of Paspat Chaudhary while acting on a tip-off.
Police confiscated the marijuana which was hidden in drums and sacks in the house.
According to the District Police Office, police had seized 8,567 quintals of marijuana from different places in the district since mid-April.
