BUTWAL, Sept 29:The ‘Ncell Rock’ musical tour commenced on September 29 in Butwal, attracting thousands of Ncell subscribers and music lovers who got an opportunity to enjoy hit songs by famous Nepali artists like Nima Rumba, Sugam Pokhrel, Adrian Pradhan, Shreya Sotang, Rejina Rimal and Kamal Khatri.
Gathering over 15,000 music lovers, Sugam Pokhrel, kicked off the concert with his originals like ‘Feri tyo din’, ’Jhilke’ and ‘Mero euta sathi cha’, followed by Nima Rumba who presented hits such as ‘Aau aauna’, ‘Rangau ki ma’ and ‘Preeti basyo’. Rejina Rimal sang her songs, ‘Nai nabhannu la’, ‘Saoyou juni’ and ‘Ma timro bhaisake’ while Shreya Sotang and Kamal Khatri took up the stage with their duet ‘Sustari sustari’. Singer Adrian Pradhan’s popular numbers like ‘Nabhana’, ‘Saathi’ and ‘Nepali ho’ got the audience further entertained.
Many regional Ncell subscribers from places like Palpa, Bhairahawa, and various parts of Rupandehi district had gathered in Butwal to enjoy the live concert.

“This concert is well managed compared to other concerts held in the past. This is the first time that I am seeing such huge mass in a concert,” shared Deepak Sharma who arrived in Butwal from Palpa for the concert with his friends.
Apart from performances by the renowned artists, DJs and B-boying dancers also got the audience grooving.
As a part of ‘Ncell Rock’ musical tour, Ncell is organizing concerts in six major cities from East to West. The other concerts are slated to be held in Dhangadhi on October 1, Narayanghat on October 3, Birgunj on October 6, Dharan on October 8 and finally in Pokhara on October 10. In each city, local singers and bands will be sharing the stage with national music celebrities.
