KATHMANDU, Sept 29: Zeal Enterprises, the authorized distributor of various electronic brands like Pro-Sys Ics, Intex and Zeal Tech, has launched Electro Voice (EV) audio products in the Nepali market.
The company launched Live X series of EV organizing a program named ´Electro Voice Live with Cobweb´ in the capital. The company has appointed Cobweb, a popular Nepali rock band, as its brand ambassador of EV speakers.
According to the company, EV is a renowned US based company which manufactures audio equipment that includes microphones, amplifiers and loudspeakers.
“The EV audio products are best for concerts, theaters, restaurants, stadiums, studios, shopping malls and the auditoriums at schools and colleges,” said Saroj Paudel, executive director of Zeal Enterprises.
According to the company, EV engineered woofers and titanium compression drivers provide best audio quality. The light weight materials and the balanced design ensure easier handling and convenient set-up.
The speakers are designed to pole-mount or stack with Live X subwoofers, connect easily with various input and output options.
The speakers are available in two different varieties: the Powered Live X family and the Passive Live X family. According to the company, the Powered Live X family comprises two full range loudspeakers and a matching subwoofer.
Similarly, the Passive Live X family features three full range loudspeakers, including a formidable dual 15 inch loud speaker configuration along with an acoustically matched 18 inch subwoofer.
According to the company, Live X 12 inch and 15 inch two-way powered loudspeakers are available for Rs 90,000 and Rs 120,000 respectively. Similarly, customers can get Live X 12 inch, Live X 15 inch and Live X dual 15 inch two-way passive loudspeakers at Rs 160,000, Rs 180,000 and Rs 170,000 respectively.
Likewise, the company has priced Live X 18 inch powered subwoofer at Rs 150,000 and Live X 18 inch passive subwoofer at Rs 200,000.
In addition to the speakers, R 300 wireless hand-and-pin microphone is available at Rs 35,000; Q 66, 900 Watts per channel amplifier is available at Rs 75,000; EV tripod aluminum stand at Rs 15,000; and EV subwoofer for Rs 10,000.
According to Paudel, the prices are introductory offer valid for a period of one month. “After a month, we will increase prices of all products by 10 to 15 percent,” he said.
