Martyr Faijan Ahmed Struggle Committee urge govt to fulfill demands

BIRGUNJ, Sept 26: Martyr Faijan Ahamed Struggle Committee, Parsa, has urged the government to fulfill their demands immediately saying the government did not provide facility to the family of Faijan as per the agreement as one year has passed of his murder.
The Struggle Committee urged this organizing a news conference.
The government has formed a high-level probe committee to carry out investigation into the case after irate Muslim communities across the nation launched agitation as soon the murder of Faijan.
Expressing sadness over non implementation of other agreements except for providing Rs. one million to the Faijan family and for not making public its report by the Probe Committee, the Struggle Committee demanded that the agreements should be implemented immediately and the report should be made public.
Similarly, the Struggle Committee submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the District Administration Office with the demands including declaring Faijan as Martyr, action against guilty and report of the Probe-Committee to be made public.
Faijan, who was General Secretary of the Islamic Association Nepal, was shot dead at the premises of the Ghantaghar- based Jame Mosque on September 26, 2011 by an unknown group.
