  Three killed in separate incidents in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Sept 24: Three persons have been killed in separate incidents here in the district on Sunday night.

According to Ravi Paudel, DSP at the Chitwan district police office, Jivan Rai of Makawanpur district was killed as he fell down from rooftop of a house near the police office at Bharatpur.

Similarly, Nanda Kishore Magar, 50, of Gunjanagar VDC died after falling off a tree. Magar breathed his last during the course of treatment.

Meanwhile, the ambulance, which was ferrying injured Magar to the hospital, hit a pedestrian to death on Sunday evening.

According to DSP Paudel, the ambulance hit an elderly man identified as Ganesh Kumar Shrestha, 70, at Mangalpur VDC.

Shrestha, who was severely injured in the accident succumbed to his injuries while being treated at a hospital.
