REPUBLICA ONLINE
BIRATCHOWK, Morang, Sept 22: Senior leader of CPN-UML KP Oli accused UCPN (Maoist) of trying to cling on to power.
Talking in a program organized by Morang chapter of Nepal Jaycees, Oli said that the political parties are unable to forge consensus due to Maoists stance on forming next government under its leadership.
"I am not the candidate for the next prime ministerial post but if I am elected to be one I will fulfill my responsibilities with full commitment," he said.
Underlining that the formation of next consensus government would be under Nepali Congress leadership, he said, "If the parties are able to agree on NC- led government then we will be able to strike an agreement soon enough."
