JANAKPURDHAM, Sept 20: Minister for Finance, Barshaman Pun, has said the government led by Dr. Baburam Bhattarai itself would hold the election of the Constituent Assembly (CA).

Talking briefly to media persons at Janakpur Airport on Thursday, Minister Pun claimed that environment is being created for transforming Bhattarai-led government as a national consensus government.

He further said all parties including the UCPN (Maoist) are ready for election as election is also the demand of the people.

Minister Pun further said the date of the CA election would be fixed in May/June of 2013 if consensus was forged among the political parties.

Pun expressed the confidence that a full-fledged budget would come on political consensus very soon.

Meanwhile, Minister Pun also visited the Janakpur-based Inland Revenue Office and Customs Office and took stock of the activities there today itself.
