  Land Reforms Minister Joshi resigns

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Minister for Land Reform and Management Chandra Dev Joshi resigned from his post on Tuesday, expressing dissent over the government´s failure to take initiative for political consensus.

Joshi, who is also the Chairman of CPN (United) has handed his resignation letter to Prime Minister Baburm Bhattarai at his office in Singha Durbar this afternoon.

Accusing the Prime Minister Bhattarai of being indifference to forge political consensus among the parties to end  the ongoing political impasse in the country, earlier, the central secretariat meeting of the party had decided to withdraw from the government.
