KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayankaji Shrestha left for China on Friday evening, leading a five-member Nepali delegation. DPM Shrestha is visiting Beijing to inaugurate Nepal Cultural Festival organized by Nepal embassy in Beijing.
The delegation includes DPM´s personal secretary Susan Karmacharya, Joint Secretary at MoFA Ambika Luintel, Joint Secretary at Tourism Ministry Bal Krishna Ghimire and a camera person from Nepal Television.
Though the DPM´s appointments with Chinese leaders were not confirmed as of Friday, MoFA sources said Nepalese embassy in Beijing is trying to fix appointments with top Chinese leaders.
There are no agenda-wise discussions scheduled with Chinese leaders. He will be flying back home on September 19 after completing a five-day visit to northern neighbor.
