KANCHANPUR, Sept 9: Two Nepali workers have been looted at Banbasa at the Nepal-India border in Kanchanpur district this morning.

The victims are Prem KC, 60, and Naresh KC, 18, from Surkhet. They were on the way to their home from Deharadun, India.

An unidentified person travelling on the same bus they were aboard offered them tainted cold drinks and made off with IRs. 14,000 and clothes from them, said the Indian Police deputed on the border area.

Police found them lying unconscious on the road side and took them to the Tanakpur-based Samyukta Hospital.

Earlier, three Nepali workers were looted near the Banbasa bazaar in the same fashion three days back.
