  Six houses gutted in Dhankuta

DHANKUTA, Sept 7: A fire in Ram Bazaar in Leguwa VDC here gutted six houses destroying property worth over Rs 10.36 millions on Friday night.

Police said the fire had started after short circuit and spread after it caught a cooking gas cylinder. A local Ramesh Shah was injured in the cylinder blast.

The Nepal Red Cross Society in the district has provided each of the six households food, cooking utensils, blankets and Rs 5,000.
