KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Various student unions stopped government vehicles from operating across the country on Friday in protest against the hike in the price of petroleum products.
The protesting student unions also held slogan chanting demonstrations in front of several colleges in the capital.
Spokesman of the Nepal Students Union (NSU), UP Lamichhane, said the student unions prohibited government vehicles from plying throughout the country to protest the price hike.
