GOLBAZAAR, (Siraha), Sept 6: A man riding a bicycle was killed after an ambulance hit the bicycle at Chhaparari on the East-West highway in Siraha district on Wednesday night.
The deceased has een identified as 42-year-old Tilai Paswan of Bhawanipur VDC-6. An ambulance heading towards Dharan had knocked down Paswan at 9 p.m. on Thursday, killing him instantaneously.
The ambulance driver who sped off after the accident was arrested at Bhardaha in Saptari district.
