REPUBLICA

KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Inktech Industries that deals in electronic goods is launching a tablet PC, Ainol Novo 7 Flame, in the Nepali market within a week. Ainol Novo 7 Flame, also known as Fire or Burning, is the only 7 inch model which comes in an ultra-thin aluminum metal case, making it sleek and durable.

“We will most probably launch the tablet in the Nepali market coming Wednesday,” said Bobby Bijukchhe, CEO of Inktech.

The company claims that the dual core Ainol Novo 7 Flame is better than Google Nexus 7 in many aspects. Flame has an Android 4.0.4 operating system, while Nexus has 4.1operating system. It has CPU frequency of 1.5 GHz while Nexus 7 has only 1.3 GHz.

Besides, the battery capacity 5000mAh is also higher than that of Nexus that has 4326 mAh battery.
Flame has an In Plane Switching (IPS) super High Definition (HD) screen panel with a resolution of 1280x800.

The Flame is equipped with Bluetooth 2.1. “Flame is the first 7 inch tablet with two webcams and supports 2MP front-facing camera and 5MP rear camera,” said Bijukchhe. The webcams have additional features like auto focus and flash light. With the help of front facing camera users can easily take their own pictures.

It is equipped with Amlogic ARM 2nd generation Cortex A9 AML8726-MX dual-core CPU, which operates faster and is much smoother. With the 1.5GHz quad-core GPU, those addicted to games can play the most complicated 3D games. Besides, the multi-task management ensures the high responsiveness of the tablet and decreases the power consumption.

For the game enthusiasts, pre-installed Google Play on Flame offers more than 400,000 applications and games. WiFi and 3G dongle makes the web browsing on Flame more convenient for the users. In addition, with the help of High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), users can enjoy high definition movies on their TV screen.

“It will come at an affordable price,” said Bijukchhe, and indicated that the company could set the tablet’s price at around Rs 25,000. The company commits to provide one year warranty to the customers. Bijukchhe told Republica that the company has a target to sell around 5,000 to 10,000 units annually.
