Six killed, 42 injured in Nawalparasi road accident

CHITWAN, Aug 20: At least six persons have been killed and 42 others injured in a truck-bus collision on the East-West Highway in Nayabelhani-8 of Nawalparasi on late Sunday night.
The identifications of the deceased have not been established yet, informed Area Police Office, Nawalpur, Kawasoti.
Seven among the injured are undergoing treatment at a local medical college, while the rest have been rushed to Chitwan for further treatment.
A bus (Na 4 Kha 1092), en-route to Mahendranagar from the capital collided with a truck with Indian registration plate (UP 53 BT 9387) coming from the opposite direction.
