KATHMANDU, Aug 17: The government reshuffled the bureaucracy for the second time in less than a week and changed the responsibilities of six secretaries.
According to the cabinet decision on Friday evening, Secretary at the Ministry of Irrigation Brinda Hada has been transferred to the Prime Minister´s Office and Secretary Pratap Kumar Pathak has succeeded her.
Similarly, Secretary at the newly formed Urban Development Ministry Tana Gautam has also been transferred to the Prime Minister´s Office. Secretary Kishor Thapa has succeeded Gautam.
Likewise, Secretary Madav Regmi has been transferred to the National Vigilance Center from the Prime Minister´s office and Secretary Suresh Kumar Shrestha has been given the responsibilities at the Ministry of Education.
