KAWASOTI, Aug. 16: At least two people died on the spot and other 50 were injured when a bus ferrying funeral attendants met with an accident at Rajahar along the East-West Highway on Thursday morning.
The Devghat-bound bus (Lu 1 Kha 3400) from Dumkibas met with the accident after it collided with culvert.
The deceased have yet to be identified, said the area police office, Rajahar.
The injured were taken to Chitwan for treatment while rescue work is on.
Number of death toll is likely to increase since the injured are said to be in critical condition.
