Chijkumar National Journalism Award to Dahal, Birahi

CHITWAN, Aug. 11: Nepal Press Union, Chitwan District Chapter is to present the Chijkumar-Bishnukumari National Journalism Award-2069 BS to senior journalist Taranath Dahal and the same award for the year 2068 BS to another noted journalist Harihar Birahi.
Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala is giving away the award to journalist duo Dahal and Birahi amid a programme to be organized in Chitwan on Sunday.
The award carries a purse of Rs 25,555. The award was instituted in memory of the then President of Freedom Fighters Association, Chij Kumar Shrestha
