KATHMANDU, Aug. 11: Some youth leaders of the Nepali Congress (NC) have claimed that party leader Khum Bahadur Khadka was framed in a corruption case in a prejudiced manner.

At a press conference organized here on Saturday by Nepal Tarun Dal, the youth leaders alleged that the graft case was filed against Khadka on corruption charges in a biased manner.

Tarun Dal President Udaya Shumsher said that the case against Khadka was brought with the ill-intention of defaming the entire Nepali Congress party.

Nepal Students´ Union leader Shubharam Basnet urged the authority concerned to deliver fair decision by probing into the case against Khadka.

The case against Khadka at the Supreme Court for amassing property disproportionate to his income source will be decided on August 14.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had registered a case against Khadka at the apex court on the charge of illegally amassing Rs 23.6 million five years ago
