KHOTANG, Aug 5: A youth lost his life in Khotang when he was swept away by the rain-triggered flood in the rivulet.
Milan Rai, 18, of Kahule-1 died when Buwa rivulet in Devisthan took him away while returning home from Beltar Bazaar, Udayapur, said Devisthan Police Post.
The incident occurred on last Friday while he was bringing daily essential goods for home and that he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Devisthan sub-health post.
Locals have been panicked for years due to no bridge over the rivulet.
