KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Bluefin Fresh Mart is opening a new outlet in Bhainsepati of Lalitpur on Sunday.
The new outlet will offer wide range of sea food imported directly from Thailand to Nepali customers, according to Sugam Acharya, promoter of the company.
“We are expanding our presence to make it easier for our customers,” Acharya said, adding, “Customers had long been requesting us to open a new branch, saying that the outlet is Jhamsikhel is just too far for them.”
The company is also preparing to open new outlets in Bouddha, Soalteemod, Lazimpat and Baluwatar within December. Besides, the company is also planning to expand its presence outside the capital through franchising.
“We will franchise the outlets to those who are interested to work with us. Interested parties can get Bluefin franchise by paying Rs 3 million and providing the company certain percentage of their profits,” said Acharya.
Acharya said the company has plans to open 24 outlets across the country within 2015. Besides, it will start selling chicken products from next year.
Bluefin is currently selling frozen shrimp, salmon, frozen Thai lobster, red snapper, starfish, budsara fillet, tuna saku, prawn, Norwegian smoked salmon,
fresh dolly fillet calamari and squid among others. These products are available in the prince range of Rs 66 per piece to Rs 4,300 per kg.
