  New range of LG Android phones in market

KATHMANDU, Aug 3: LG has introduced new range of Android phone in the Nepali market, targeting customers looking for high-tech gadget.

CG Impex - the authorized distributor of LG mobile phones for Nepal - introduced four new handsets in its L-Style series on Friday. The newly launched sets are LG Optimus L3E400, Optimus L3 E405, Optimus L5 E612 and Optimus L7 P705.

According to Ramesh Shrestha, general manager of CG Impex, the core essence of L-Style involves a timeless design with finer details that further differentiate LG´s mobile devices from the competitive market. “As customers look for design while choosing a mobile phone, LG has focused on the design that attracts tech savvy customers,” said Shrestha.

According to CG Impex, L-Style´s design philosophy is comprised of five aesthetic elements: Modern Square Style for a comfortable grip, Floating Mass Technology for a slimmer look, Seamless Layout for a more intuitive arrangement of keys, Harmonized Design Contrast utilizing metallic accents and Sensuous Slim Shape that naturally draws one´s attention.

LG Optimus L3 E400 is an entry level fun phone for social networking, music and calls and features a 3 megapixel camera and 1540 mAh battery. It comes with Optimus UI 2.0 Lite on top of Android Gingerbread and is priced at Rs 14,999.

Similarly, the Optimus L3 E405 Dual comes with 1 GB of internal memory with expandable up to 32 GB. It has four touch buttons, Bluetooth 3.0 with EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB 2.0. The company has priced the phone at Rs 16,999.

Optimus L5 on the other hand features 800MHz processor, 4-inch HVGA display, 5MP camera and Android 4.0 operating system. It comes with 1500 mAh battery, 4GB of internal memory and supports external memory up to 32 GB. It has 5 mega pixels auto focus camera in the rear with LED flash. It is available at Rs 28,999.

The Optimus L7 P705 is powered by a 1 GHz processor and is based on Android v4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. “This Android phone promises to deliver a user experience that is enriched with interactive notifications, resizable widgets and easy multitasking,” said Shrestha.

The uniquely designed L7 has a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen that supports WVGA, 800 x 480 pixels resolution offering vivid display. The screen supports In Plane switching (IPS) display that offers great viewing angles. It features 5 mega pixels primary camera with LED flash and 0.3 mega pixels front facing secondary camera. The phone is priced at Rs 38,999.

CG Impex provides one year warrant on handset and six months warranty on battery of the L-Style series phones that are manufactured in South Korea. It also provides 2GB memory card free with every purchase of LG Android handsets.
