SOLUKHUMBU, July 31: A gang thrashed and looted locals of Tapting-1, Sisakhola, Solukhumbu on Monday night.

A group of seven people heading to a famous pilgrim site, Dudhkunda, in the district looted the locals including Pasang Sherpa.

The looters made away with two mobile sets, Rs 8000 in cash, five mobile SIM cards and a jacket from the locals.

The looters have been identified as Ganesh Tamang and Saroj BK of Okhaldhunga, Bhim Bahadur Lama, Dhim Maya Sunar and Chandra Maya Tamang of Khinji-8, Dev Raj BK of Patle, Okhaldhunga and Yonjan Lama of Khinji, Phalate-8, Okharbot. Police have arrested all of them.

The injured are undergoing treatment at a local health post.
